Mirrorball explores the theme of the party as an unexpected and infomal gathering, putting it in contrast with the structures oriented by a profit- driven logic. The project, curated by Marta Cereda, shows a collection of video selected from the archive of Careof gallery and presents contemporary researches aimed at investigating how the capitalist system has attempted to regulate, channel, and monetize the party energy.

Mirrorball explores the theme of the party as an unexpected and infomal gathering, putting it in contrast with the structures oriented by a profit- driven logic. The project, curated by Marta Cereda, shows a collection of video selected from the archive of Careof gallery and presents contemporary researches aimed at investigating how the capitalist system has attempted to regulate, channel, and monetize the party energy.

The exhibition design brings together these multiple visions using a visual language that reconstructs, in fragments, the aesthetics of nightlife. The gallery was populated by spatial signs that refer to the ephemeral universe of the party. Within this fragile dimension, a geography emerges composed of architectural elements, graphic references, fluorescent colors, and plastic fields interrupted by cuts of light, shaping an autonomous space of reflection.

The exibition design was realized by using reused peices from previous set up coming from Spazio Meta in Milan. The materials were chosen with an idea of flexibility and adaptation, in order to enable futher exhibition layouts to the gallery.
